Melissa Marie Burgess

Melissa M. Burgess, of Battle Creek passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the age of 58. Melissa was born on October 18, 1965 in Indiana. She was the daughter of Keith and Valerie Lowery. On February 16, 1996 she married her husband Thomas.

Melissa is preceded in death by her father: Keith; father-in-law: Richard Burgess, Sr.; and her brother-in-law: Richard Burgess, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Thomas; stepmother: Valerie Lowery; brother: Keith Lowery Jr; sister: Sandy Lowery; mother-in-law: Claudia Burgess, of Vicksburg; brothers-in-law: Robert Burgess, of SC and Peter Burgess, of Vicksburg.

Melissa is being cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
