A graduate of Comstock High School with the Class of 1987. He was known for his loving nature, independence, selflessness, and notable dry sense of humor, traits that endeared him to those who knew him.
Michael dedicated over 20 years of his career to Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Parchment, where he became a valued member of the company until its closure. Following this chapter, he went on to contribute his skills as a Production Technician for Corteva over the past few years.

When it came to music, Zippy stayed true to the genre in which he grew up in, with heavy metal, and 80’s Rock n’ Roll. He wasn’t just a great air guitarist, but was also played the drums in a local band, showcasing his artistic side and love for music. His culinary pursuits were equally noteworthy; he had a passion for hunting down the perfect hot sauce. When it came to cooking, his family preferred his chili and grilling.
Above all, Michael's proudest accomplishment was his daughter, Maya, who was, his pride and joy. The bond they shared was a testament to the love and dedication he poured into his family life.
