Michael John Stacey Sr., age 60, passed away suddenly on July 19, 2026. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on May 26, 1966 to Bonnie and Arnold Stacey.

Throughout his life, he experienced many challenges and many joys. Those who knew him remember him in different ways and from many different seasons of his life. He will be remembered by his family and friends for the memories they shared together.

He is survived by his children, Jody (Stacey) & Charles Tyler II , Michael Stacey Jr., Dustin Phillips, and Steven Phillips, his grandchildren, Makenzie Stacey, Aden Tyler, Charles Tyler III, and Isabella Stacey. He is also survived by many aunts, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by Bonnie (Siebel) Stacey (Mother), Arnold Stacey (Father), Stuart Stacey (Brother), Benjamin Stacey (Uncle), Ernie Stacey (Grandfather), his Grandmother, and other aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 10 a.m. at 12th Street Baptist Church, 3911 S. 12th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, share memories, and honor Michael’s life together.
