Nancy Colleen (Cooper) Kunselman, age 83, of Vicksburg, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 8, 2026. She was born on June 23, 1942, in Constantine, Michigan, the daughter of Wayne and Lillian (Miller) Cooper.
Nancy graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1960 and went on to attend Ferris State University. During her high school years she met the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" Kunselman. The two were united in marriage on April 13, 1963, at the Vicksburg United Methodist Church. Together they shared thirty-four years of marriage before Chuck's passing in 1997. Their marriage was built on love, faith, and devotion, and together they raised two daughters, Connie and Lorrie.
Nancy's love for her husband was evident in the care she gave him as his muscular dystrophy progressed. She faithfully served as Chuck's caretaker, a beautiful testament to the vows they shared and the strength of their love.
For a number of years Nancy worked as a dental assistant in Vicksburg. Above all, she devoted herself to her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nancy had a gift for cooking and was well known for making the very best pies. Even in recent years she continued sharing that love through baking, including blueberry pies she lovingly made for her grandson's wedding.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Chuck.
Left to cherish her loving memory are her daughters, Connie (Douglas) Hall and Lorrie (Greg) Moran; her siblings, Karen Mayhak and Gary (Lorraine) Cooper; her grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah) Hall, Andrew Hall, Jared (Kaylee) Hall, Jenna (Owen) Blanchard, Sarah (Randy) Maxwell, and David (Amy) Moran; and her great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Samuel Maxwell, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Memorial contributions in Nancy's memory may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or The Salvation Army. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
In accordance with the family's wishes, services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 13, 2026 with a time for visiting beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Bill Rose officiating. Nancy will be laid to rest at Vicksburg Cemetery following the service.
