Nathaniel Doorlag

Nathaniel Willis-Allen "Nate" Doorlag of Galesburg, MI passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the age of 44. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on December 8, 1980, the son of Mark and Rebekah (Diller) Doorlag.

In accordance with the family's wishes a public visitation will be held at Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home, 120 South Woodhams Street, Plainwell, MI 49080, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held the following day Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Northeastern Baptist Church, 6536 E G Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49048, beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Curt Griffis officiating. There will be a time of fellowship to follow. Nate will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery during a private committal service.
