Nicholas Mostifa Heidarisafa

Nicholas "Nick" Mostifa Heidarisafa, age 36, of Augusta, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was born on May 13, 1990, in Normal, Illinois, the fifth of eight children born to Hamid and Carol Heidarisafa.

Nick graduated from Gull Lake High School in 2009 and went on to complete coursework at Kellogg Community College. Throughout his life, he was known as a dependable son, brother, and friend whose caring nature touched many lives.

From the very beginning, Nick's life was viewed as a blessing. Born after a high-risk pregnancy and weighing just 5 pounds, 12 ounces, his mother and family lovingly referred to him as their "miracle baby." He carried that same resilient spirit throughout his life.

Nick had a generous heart and enjoyed helping those in need by delivering food to individuals and families in his community. He also faithfully supported charitable causes benefiting Jewish organizations, reflecting his compassion and desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

As a child, Nick loved everything about cowboys. As he grew older, his interests expanded to include indoor gardening, horses, go-karts, motorcycles, video games, and sports, especially baseball and basketball. He had an especially strong throwing arm and enjoyed friendly competition. He also loved powerful car audio systems with deep bass that could be heard long before he arrived. Above all else, Nick deeply loved his faithful dog, Missy, who was a constant companion.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Paul and Jayne Moberly, Dorothy (Tom Cadwell) Moberly, Cobra and Hossein Heidarisafa; cousins, Jefferson Heath and Joey Hayes.

Left to cherish his loving memory are his parents, Hamid and Carol Heidarisafa; his siblings, Crystal (Jeffrey) Gilliam, Thomas Heidarisafa, Matthew (Erin) Heidarisafa, Rebecca (Erik) Sullivan, Nathan Heidarisafa, Daniel Heidarisafa, and Robert (Elizabeth) Heidarisafa; his beloved dog, Missy; his nieces and nephews, Isaac, Hannah, and Caleb Gilliam; Natalie, Grace, and Isabella Williams, Addison, Ava, and Levi Sullivan; Eugene and Layla Heidarisafa; aunts and uncles: Jeanette (Steven) Heath and Susan (Joe Hayes) Moberly; and his cousins: Lincoln (Amanda) Heath, Jada and David Hayes, Brianna Moberly; as well as many additional family on his father's side who reside overseas.

Throughout the challenges he faced in life, Nick found strength and hope in his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He clung to his Savior during difficult times, trusting in God's grace and finding comfort in His promises. His faith was a source of perseverance and remained an important part of who he was.

Memorial contributions in Nick's memory may be made to the family, c/o Hamid Heidarisafa. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a time of public visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Radiant Church, 8157 E. DE Avenue, Richland, Michigan, with a time of visiting beginning at 9:15 a.m. until the time of service at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Sean Downs will officiate. Nicholas will be laid to rest with his family at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South immediately following the service.

Nick will be remembered for his generous heart, his unwavering loyalty to family and friends, and the kindness he so freely shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
