Patricia Rene Aldrich

Patricia Rene Aldrich, age 92, of Schoolcraft passed away peacefully on December 4th, 2020 at White Oaks Assisted Living Center. Patricia was born on September 13th, 1928 to Emerson and Bernice Houts. She was married to Neal C. Aldrich on September 24th, 1948. Pat grew up and lived in Schoolcraft her whole life. She loved her little town and being active in her community. She retired from Kalamazoo County State Bank after 30 years, and worked at Norma’s Antiques for 25 years. For many years she enjoyed volunteering at the Schoolcraft Community Library and was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Pat loved music and ballroom dancing with her husband. Her family includes her children: Timothy Aldrich, Larry (Patsy) Aldrich; her grandchildren: Amy (Jeff) Triplett, Gabriel (Kari) Aldrich, Benjamin (Lisa) Aldrich, and Jeremy (Kelly) Aldrich; her great grandchildren: Zackary Triplett, Henry Aldrich, Mason Aldrich, and Maylee Aldrich; her sister Norma Whybrew; her sister-in-law Jeanette Houts; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Emerson and Bernice Houts; her husband of 55 years, Neal Aldrich; her daughter-in-law Elisabeth Aldrich; and her brother Errol Houts, Sr. A private graveside service will be held at Schoolcraft Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pat may be made to Schoolcraft Community Library OR to the Hospice Care of SW Michigan. Pat was the personification of the customer is always right. She was a great asset to KCSB. And she was a teacher of many.

I have known Pat, Neil, Tim and Larry for my entire life. She was also one of my moms best friends. My deepest sympathies to Tom, Larry and their families. She was a great lady.

I will never forget PA. In 1973 she was my first boss at Kalamazoo County State Bank. She was PA and I was Deber She was a joy to work for. May she Rest In Peace

Some of my fondest memories are talking and laughing with Pat, Neal, and Ben around Pats kitchen table. She and Neal are generosity defined! I miss you! My deepest condolences to the Aldrich family.
