Patricia Park, of Marcellus, MI

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia on September 10, 2026, at Rose Arbor Hospice. Born on September 27, 1930, in Detroit, MI, Patricia lived a full life devoted to family, faith, and community. Her gentle spirit and unwavering strength touched the lives of all who knew her.

Patricia was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Shinel) Pipesh. Her early years were spent in Detroit, where she graduated from Cooley High School, laying the foundation for a life marked by perseveranc. Over her lifetime, Patricia held various roles, most notably in quality control at GM in Three Rivers and at Arco in Schoolcraft. Her work ethic and commitment were admired by colleagues and friends alike.

The heart of Patricia's world was her family. The only thing she wanted in life was to be a mother and she was a devoted mother, she lovingly raised six children: Catherine (Gerard) Tejeda, Joseph (Sue) Park, Roberta Park, Terrence Park, and Lawrence (Sara) Park. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, including Katie (Jeff) Kloc, Marla Young, Walter (Kristen) Young, Cara (Corey Knapp) Park, Robert (Megan) Park, Nicole Park, Ashley (Joe) Slusher, Allie (Mitchell Goodwin) Park0, Michelle (Mack) (David) Slavings, Stephen Resanovich, Sara (Mark) Whitmyer, Matthew (April) Resanovich, Mandy Resanovich (Tony Fornoff), Brooke Park, and Kaitlynn (Reece Woodley) Park, as well as her fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Robert T. Park, her son Michael A. Park, granddaughter Jazmine Park, and great-granddaughter Harley Aylor. Despite these profound losses, Patricia's resilience and enduring love for her family never wavered, a testament to her strength and grace.

Sundays were a cherished time for Patricia, filled with laughter and love as she played cut throat dominoes with her children and grandchildren. Her homemade chocolates were a well-known among friends and family, a sweet reminder of her love and care for each person in her life. Her caramels were so good she had to hide them when her children visited.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the caregivers at Rose Arbor Hospice for their compassionate care and kindness during Patricia's final days. Patricia's warmth, kindness, and boundless love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by the many lives she touched. Her spirit endures in the hearts of her family and friends, a lasting legacy of love and devotion.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Marcellus VFW Post 4054, 53550 M-40, Marcellus, MI 49067; on September 27 from 3 pm to 5 pm. The 27th would have been Pat’s 96th birthday.
