Patricia (Trish) McGregor

Patricia "Trish" Grace McGregor went home to be with her Lord on October 16, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Trish was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on October 29, 1957, to Robert and Shirley Roach. She attended Parchment Schools and graduated from Parchment High School in 1975 before continuing her education at Michigan State University.

From 1982 to 1984, Trish completed her nursing studies at the Bronson Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, later earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University in 1986. She dedicated over 40 years to her career as a Radiology Technologist before retiring in 2021, forming lasting friendships and touching countless lives along the way.

Trish married the love of her life, Russell "Todd" McGregor Sr., and together they shared 25 wonderful years. They found joy in life's simple pleasures - tending to their gardens, working on home projects, taking long walks through their Portage neighborhood and nature trails, and exploring the beauty of northern Michigan and beyond.

More than anything, Trish adored her five grandchildren. Whether cheering them on at games or teaching them the simple joys of childhood, she had a remarkable gift for connecting with them and helping them see the wonder in everyday life.

Her husband lovingly shares:

"My sweetheart Trish - her passion for beauty and nature was unmatched by anyone I have ever known. Her family values were unbelievably strong, yet she remained soft-hearted and carried the spirit of a little girl. I believe I will never meet another person like her. I am truly blessed to have shared 25 years with her, and she will be in my heart forever."

Trish was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Friend Roach and Shirley June Roach; brother-in-law Patrick Bruce Lappin; sister-in-law Denise Roach; and her in-laws, Russell V. McGregor, Shirley L. McGregor, and Russell Sage.

She is survived by her husband, Russell "Todd" McGregor Sr.; sister, Robin E. Lappin; brothers, Robert A. Roach and Bruce T. (May) Roach; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Troy) Sage and Lori (Bernie) VanderPloeg; stepsons, Russell T. (Ashley) McGregor Jr. and Dylan Z. (Alyson) McGregor; and five beloved grandchildren.

A celebration of Trish's life will be held at a later date.
