Peggy Ann (Hayes) Boysen
Peggy Ann (Hayes) Boysen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, at Kairos Dwelling, surrounded by her loving family. She was 83 years old.
Peggy was born on April 22, 1943, in Otsego, Michigan, to Alva Hayes and Margaret Babbitt.
On May 3, 1975, Peggy married the love of her life, Paul Boysen. Together, they built a life filled with family, love, and many cherished memories.
Peggy will be deeply missed by her daughters, Toni (Jim) McDonald and Michelle Wesaw; son, Scott (Melissa) Boysen; son-in-law, Chris Ortega; and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Boysen. She is also survived by her grandchildren Khett Stevenson, Cameron (Amanda) Stevenson, Trevor Stevenson, Ryan Boysen, Jennifer Murray, Casey (Dan) Johnson, Nikki Arrendondo, Melanie Boysen, and Jessica Stevenson, along with many great-grandchildren who lovingly called her “GG.”
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Boysen; daughter, Kim (Stevenson) Ortega; sons, John Boysen and Todd Boysen; her father, Alva Hayes; mother, Margaret Babbitt; stepfather, William Pearson; and sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Burl Sparks.
Peggy’s greatest joy was her family, and she will be remembered for the love she gave to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who knew and loved her.
Peggy will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
