Phyllis Ketchum

Phyllis Ketchum, age 78, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Phyllis was born on December 4, 1942, to Fred & Dorothy (Pasch) Freeman. Phyllis is lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Allan Ketchum; her children: Terry Ketchum, Tammy (Steph Rice) Ketchum and Todd Ketchum; her siblings: Doris Merrill and Donna Goldstein; six grandchildren: Lindsey, AJ (Haley), Elizabeth, Eli, Abe, and Zeke as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Phyllis was preceded by her parents; and her in-laws: Andy and Betty Ketchum and her sister Joyce Walker. Phyllis was well known for her banana cake and her wine cake. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest passion. She enjoyed her home on Pine Lake for over 60 years where she waterskied, pontooned and had a jet ski. Phyllis had a great sense of humor. She was very giving and put others first especially her friends and neighbors. A dedicated wife and mother – she will be dearly missed. Ketch and family, So sorry to hear the passing of Phyllis. I last talked to her when you were in Florida. I was to get ahold of her when you got back home because she had a cross that she wanted to give to me to give to our daughter that was her grandpa or grandma Markillies. I tried 3 times and never got an answer back. But never the less Dan and I want to extend our deepest and most sincere sympathy to all. I didn't realize that Phyllis had been ill and so sorry for that. May she rest in peace from now into eternity. And May God place his loving arms around you and family to comfort you at this mosr difficult time. Sandy and Dan Fleming

We remember all the good times we had together in Michigan and the trip to Las Vegas. Phyllis your dedication to us as a loyal employee at Village Graphics and Ketch all the time you spent keeping us in graphics supplies. Those were the good old days. Time passes us all by and we lose the ones we love, but they are never forgotten. Our thoughts are with you Ketch and family. Good friends since high school always. Bob and Pat Pountain
