Rachel Wallace

Rachel Wallace, of Portage, MI passed away peacefully in her sleep during the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the age of 30. She was the loving daughter of Daryl Wallace (Kim) and Patricia Wallace - Magoon (Jeff). Rachel is survived by her step-sisters, Tarah and Marissa Harrison; her brother, Cameron Thompson; step-sister, Lindsay Hendrickson (Denny Slaughter); and nephews, Talan and Gabriel. Also survived by her step-brother, Tyler Magoon (Megan Fliearman), Lakaya and Jayden.

Rachel graduated from WoodsEdge Learning Center at the age of 26 and entered a program at Western Michigan University's Center for Disability Services where she enjoyed the experience of interacting with the amazing WMU students who were studying to obtain degrees in related fields.

Rachel brought so much joy, not only to her family, but also touched the hearts of many individuals who were lucky enough to meet her. She was a young lady pure of heart and soul; a true angel here on earth limited by her physical and mental abilities, who can now finally spread her heavenly wings away from her earthly bindings. And if you listen closely, you will be able to hear her playing with her "crinkle paper" for her loving family who passed before her.

Services for Rachel will be determened at a later date.
