Randy Clair Harvey

Randy Harvey, age 75, of Plainwell, passed away on January 9, 2020. Randy was born on January 15, 1944 to Clair & Pauline Harvey. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 280 Starr Rd. in Plainwell. Randy’s family includes his wife of 56 years, Judy; his children: Mike (Cinda) Harvey, Steve (Sondra) Harvey, Tammy (Ryan) McGraw; his sister Penny Harvey; nine grandchildren: Chad, Bryan, Jason, Trisha, Brandi, Amanda, Nathan, Carter and Bailey; seven great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Dixie Minshall. Randy was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He had a deep faith in God and was passionate about his ministry work. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play. He enjoyed taking drives up to the UP in autumn to view the beautiful fall colors. I remember just before Randy and Judy moved back to Michigan from Montana, he wrote a poem and read it to our congregation. It was very sweet and touched my heart, I wish I had a copy. My first memory of Randy was at his wedding. He was tall & handsome & very much in love with his bride :heartpulse: I am surprised & saddened to hear of his loss. The last I saw Randy was of him giving his experiences of helping the inactive make their way back at the Regional Assembly. My sympathies go to Judy & children. :broken_heart:

Randy was a very sweet man. I always enjoyed listening to him at the Kingdom Hall. I know he will be missed by many.
