Randy Robinson, of Portage, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the age of 70. Randy was born on January 4, 1951 in Paw Paw. He was the son of Louis and Reva (Johnson) Robinson. Randy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane; children, Stacy Bennett and Tony Robinson; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Rosemary (Ric) Sorrentino and Rodney (Jeannie) Robinson. Randy is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ricky Robinson. Randy served his country in the Air Force for 4 years and he was proud of his creative welding projects that he did while in the service. In his spare time Randy liked to camp in his younger years, spending time with his family, and was an outdoorsman. He loved fishing and hunting for morel mushrooms. He was a wildlife conservationist and taking care of the wildlife and land. He would help anyone with anything if they needed it. He wanted everyone to “Look out for the dumbasses.” His warm smile will be missed and he will always be remembered for his famous “Bluegill Recipe.” A friends and family gathering will take place Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 2-6pm at 5401 East CD Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49004.
