Raymond Lawrence Coville

December 18, 1949 - August 12, 2024

Galesburg, MI.

Raymond was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was the son of Roy L. and Isophene O. Coville.

A proud graduate of Galesburg-Augusta High School, he was a member of the 1967 state championship team. He also was on the wrestling team with a record of 99-15-2. The National Amateur Wrestling Magazine named Ray as an All-American, placing him in the top 50 wrestlers in the U.S. in 1969. Ray went on to Eastern Michigan and was a two-time varsity letter winner. 

Raymond has been cremated and there are no services scheduled. 

Raymond is survived by his brother, Roy L. Coville, III and sister-in-law, Linda S. Coville.
