Richard Duane Lehman, age 95, of Plainwell, Michigan, was born on April 17, 1930, in Plainwell, Michigan, the son of Roy and Eleanor (Pierce) Lehman. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Richard was a man of deep faith, steady hands, and a servant's heart. A lifelong member of First Baptist Church, he faithfully served his church family in many capacities over the years. He held the roles of Deacon and Trustee, drove the church bus, operated the sound booth, and generously gave his time and talents to countless repair projects - especially tending to the church's heating system. One of his proud accomplishments was renovating the church parsonage, leaving a lasting impact on his congregation.

Richard worked in the paper manufacturing industry for over forty-five years. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and dedication throughout his long career. He took pride in providing for his family and approached his work with the same diligence and care that he applied to every area of his life.

He had a love for travel and adventure. He and his family enjoyed camping and exploring the country, and he was a longtime member of the Michigan Knights of the Highway motorhome group. Over the years, he visited every state except Hawaii, creating cherished memories along the way.

Always busy with a project, Richard enjoyed building and repair work of all kinds, especially car repair projects. His ability to fix nearly anything was admired by many, and he found great satisfaction in hard work and craftsmanship.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Eleanor Lehman, and his two brothers, Merlyn Doyle Lehman and Ivan Milford Lehman.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Juanita; his two sons, Richard A. (Denise) Lehman and Robert D. (Sarah) Lehman; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Melva Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 404 West Bridge Street, Plainwell, MI 49080.

Richard's life was a testimony of faith, dedication, and quiet service. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faithfulness, and a job well done.
