Robert “Bob” H. Smith, age 63, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Bob was born on June 21, 1959, to Earl & Dorothy (Lowery) Smith.  Following his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial celebration of life will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Yorkville Community Church - 11523 East D Ave. Richland, MI.  

Bob’s Family includes his wife of 32 years, Kimberly; three children: Melinda (Derek Synder) Smith, Robert E.L. (Filena) Smith, Katelynn Smith; four grandchildren; his siblings: Linda Smith, Roy Smith, William Smith, Mary Jo Briggs and Jean Sauer as well as several nieces and nephews.  Bob was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Earl and his sister Elizabeth Ann.

Bob graduated from Plainwell High School in 1977.  After high school, he worked at Murco.  Later he got a job at Wright Coating Technologies where he retired on July 15, 2022.  Bob loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.  He was a hard worker and good provider.  In his limited spare time, he loved to fish and did a little hunting.
