Robert Stratton, of Plainwell, MI passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the age of 89. Born to Wesley and Julia (Hotchkiss) Stratton on June 11, 1933 in Plainwell Michigan. He was one of 12 children in the Stratton family.
Bob loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing the Fletcher Flood water in Hillman Michign, on the Thunder Bay River at his cabin. Bob worked at the Plainwell Paper Mill for 45 years and retired in 1997.
Surviving are his wife Dixie; and his children, Danny (Terry) Stratton of Plainwell, Diann (Dave) Santman of Paw Paw, Judy Stratton of Martin, and Dennis (Margaret) Stratton of Plainwell. Bob left an amazing legacy behind with 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 5 great-great granddaughters!
Bob was preceeded in death by his parents; his son Douglas and all of his siblings.
Cremation has taken place and the family has plans for a memorial service at a later date. Contributions in Bob's name may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.
