Roger leaves behind a legacy marked by love, strength, and good humor. Throughout his life, Roger was known for his kind-hearted nature and strong-willed spirit.

He dedicated over 30 years to his career as a machine operator for Interkal, where he was respected by his colleagues and left a lasting impact.

Roger was especially proud of his marriage to his wife, Debbie, who preceded him in death. Their bond was a testament to love that endures, and his memories of their life together will continue to inspire those who knew them. Roger loved his family very much. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, often filling their days with life lessons and guidance.

In addition to his devotion to family, Roger served his country honorably in the United States Army. His service reflected his commitment to his nation and instilled in him a profound sense of pride that he carried throughout his life.

A man of varied interests, Roger found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved hunting and fishing, seeking adventure in the great outdoors. Many cherished moments were spent gathered around a bonfire on chilly fall nights, where stories were shared, and bonds were strengthened. Near Luther, MI, property of a family friend served as a sanctuary for family gatherings and personal reflection, further illustrating his appreciation for nature and meaningful connections.

As we remember Roger, we celebrate a life well-lived, characterized by resilience, joy, and a commitment to family. His kind spirit and great sense of humor will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
