Rose Robertson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Violet Robertson, who went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on January 9, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois, Rose was a vibrant and spirited woman whose love, laughter, and light touched all who had the joy of knowing her.

She was the beloved daughter of Joyce and Duke Reeves and is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, her brothers Joseph, Dwight, Robert, and David Reeves, and her beloved niece Tiffany Reeves. Here on Earth, she leaves behind her cherished siblings: Tracie Freeman (Kevin), nephews: Harry, John, Nolan Freeman and Kevin Crane. She also shared a deep and enduring love with her devoted partner, Peter DeLisle, who stood faithfully by her side through life's every season.

Rose was the proud and devoted mother of seven children: Michael Robertson (Michelle), Samantha Taylor (Michael), Katherine Robertson (Abel), RJ Robertson (Klaira), Timmy Robertson, Jimmy Robertson (Katie), and Brandan Robertson (Kris). Her love as a mother was only matched by the joy she found in being a grandmother to her twelve treasured grandchildren: Braxxton, Brinkley, Rayne, Ryker, Elijah, Fiona, Hassiah, Niome, Charles, Azraela, Cattleya, and Cashmere.

Her heart had room for even more-Rose lovingly embraced others as her own. Tyler and Sherri Rathburn and their three children, along with Hailey Brockington, were welcomed into her life with open arms and unwavering love. She offered each of them the same care, guidance, and compassion she gave her family.

For over twenty years, Rose owned and operated a successful painting and cleaning business. Her work ethic, integrity, and infectious positivity earned the respect and gratitude of countless clients-many of whom became close friends. Her tireless dedication and joyful presence set her apart.

A woman of unwavering faith, Rose lived a life guided by the love of Jesus. She carried a light that radiated through her contagious smile, unforgettable laugh, and the way she made everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. She was the life of every party-energetic, fun-loving, and full of heart. Her presence brought warmth and joy, and her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled.

Rose's legacy is one of deep love, strength, and grace. She was an extraordinary mother, a doting grandmother, a devoted partner, a loyal sister and aunt, and a true friend to all. Her memory will continue to inspire kindness, compassion, and joy in the many lives she touched.
