Roxie Ann Gerlofs

Roxie Ann (Jacobs) Gerlofs passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 13^th, 2023. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on October 14^th 1953. She graduated from Otsego High School and attended WMU. Roxie was preceded in death by Gladys Jacobs (Mother) and Jack E Jacobs (Father). Roxie is survived by David Gerlofs (Husband of 38 years), Lori Drainer (Daughter), Dustin Gerlofs (Son), Peyton Way (Granddaughter), Jaxon Nufer (Grandson), Easton Ridgley (Grandson), Clayton Gerlofs (Grandson), Melynda Davis (Niece), Rhoda Skinner (Niece), Angel Larsson (Niece) and Katlyn Fessler (Niece).  

Roxie worked at a childcare center in Otsego, followed by Otsego Public Schools and finished her working years at Harding’s Market as a Barista. She was an outspoken extrovert who enjoyed striking up conversation with anyone and brought joy to many in doing so. Roxie loved the outdoors, camping, plants, birds, motorcycle rides, and spending time with and/or talking with friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM Friday, March 17^th 2023 at Haven Church, 5350 N. Sprinkle Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49004. A Luncheon will be provided following the ceremony at Haven.
