In Loving Memory of Sharon Santman

Sharon Santman, age 73, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on May 7, 1952, in Margate, Kent, England, Sharon was the daughter of Richard and Nancy Smith, who preceded her in death. She married Richard Santman on January 7, 1972, beginning a marriage that spanned more than five decades and was built on love, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to family.

Sharon's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother to Bryan (Jessica) Santman and Amy Bradford, and a proud grandmother to Andrew, Owen, Jonathan, and Jackson. She treasured time spent together - whether sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying one another's company. Her love was steady, comforting, and always present.

She worked as a secretary and was known for her kindness, reliability, and warm spirit. Sharon enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and loved ones. She especially loved sunshine, water, and peaceful moments that brought people together - the simple things that made life meaningful to her.

Those who knew Sharon will remember her gentle nature, her quiet strength, and the way she made others feel cared for and welcomed. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and family that will continue through all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard; her children; and her cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.

A private family service will be held at a later date in accordance with her wishes. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice, whose compassionate care meant so much to Sharon and her family.

Sharon will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
