Sharron Lee Beckwith

August 17, 1942 — October 17, 2024

Landrum, South Carolina

In Loving Memory of Sharron Lee Beckwith.

With great love and deep respect, we celebrate the life of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sharron Lee Dawson Beckwith, who departed this world on October 17, 2024, at the age of 82 in Landrum, South Carolina.

Born on August 17, 1942, on the family farm in Lexington, Michigan, Sharron was shaped by the values of hard work, compassion, and unwavering faith. She pursued education with dedication, attending Mt. Carmel School in Kentucky, Owosso College, and later earning an associate degree from Mott Community College.

Sharron dedicated 30 years of her life to AC Delco before retiring. In retirement, she found fulfillment in volunteer work, spending summers at Indian Lakes Nazarene Campground. She cherished her time living there, offering her kindness and service wherever needed—whether in the dining hall or assisting with laundry at the hotels. Her selflessness and devotion to community were evident in everything she did.

She was a devoted mother to Patti Beckwith, Randy Beckwith, Steve (Renee) Beckwith, Greg (Mercedes) Beckwith, and the late Paul Beckwith Jr. (Rachel). She cherished her grandchildren, Sean Beckwith, Michelle Sexton, Jason White, Rachel Beckwith, Emma Beckwith, Mary Beckwith, Scott Sorenson, Kia Cooper, Ashton Beckwith, Kassidy Beckwith, Jesse Beckwith and Clayton Beckwith bringing love and laughter to their lives. She is also survived by her siblings Valarie Dawson, Reva Castle, Dennis Dawson, Amy Schmidt (Bob Schmidt), and Chris Dawson (Corky). She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Beckwith Sr., and her parents.

A woman of deep kindness, Sharron loved spending time with family and friends, engaging in board and card games, and offering a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a dedicated member of the Nazarene Church, where her faith guided her and inspired those around her.

Her presence will be profoundly missed, but the love and values she instilled in those who knew her will remain as a lasting testament to her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Indian Lake Nazarene Camp, Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, and/or ChapNaz Church in her honor. Sharron's services will take place on June 21st at 1:00 PM, at Indian Lake Nazarene Camp; 8258 Victory St, Vicksburg, MI 49097.

She will forever remain in our hearts.
