Ted Campbell

On Monday April 1, 2024, Ted Eddie Campbell, loving father of four, went to be with the Lord.

He was born February 27, 1931, in Flint, Michigan to John and Leah (Young) Campbell. On April 10, 1954, he married Evelyn Francis Curtis. They had four children, Glen, John, Gary, and Judy.

Ted was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, his parents and eleven siblings as well his two sons, Glen and Gary.

He is survived by his son John (Brenda) Campbell and daughter Judy (Tim) Funk. Six grandchildren Tony, Brandon (Erika) and Holly Funk, Chad (Courtney) Campbell, Chelsea (Bill) Strong, and Kaylee (Zack) Toren. Six great grandchildren Sarah, Thaddeus, Evangeline, Audrey, Lucas and Maximus. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws Betty Campbell and Agnes Franks as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ted had a love for people and always greeted everyone at church with a warm handshake. He loved the people of his church and along with his wife led a group called Young at Heart for people fifty-five and up. He was also the Congregational Care Pastor for several years. He was always visiting the sick and elderly.

He was a hard working man who always put his family first. From cutting down trees to selling scrap metal to working at Valley Metal, he was always doing whatever he could to provide for his family. He worked for Kingscott Associates for 30 years before retiring and enjoying wood crafts, tinkering in his garage and spending time traveling with his grandchildren and taking trips to see country and gospel groups with his extended family.
