Terri Anne Stevens December 5, 1958 - September 14, 2026 Terri Anne Stevens, age 67, passed away unexpectedly in her home on September 14th, 2026, in Portage, MI. She was born December 5th, 1958, the daughter of Ronald and Suzanne (Papierz) Stevens.

Terri graduated from Comstock High School with the class of 1977. She then attended Ferris State University where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management in 1981 and later attended KVCC, where she graduated with her associate degree in arts- with honors in 2009. Terri retired from the State of Michigan, having worked in disability determination claims.

Though Terri didn’t have children of her own, her nieces and nephews were treated as such; along with her great nieces and nephews, were treated as her grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, along with her fur baby, Chewy. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending events/activities that her nieces and nephews were involved in, baking, painting rocks and planting flowers. She was an avid student, and was a part of the Comstock Community bell choir. She was a fan of NASCAR, Detroit teams, U of M and University of Alabama sports. She also collected brooches and Russian nesting dolls.

Terri Anne Stevens is survived by her mother, Suzanne Stevens of Kalamazoo; two siblings, Tim (Karen) Stevens and Ronda (Robert) Pakiela; Nieces and nephews, Justin Pakiela, Randi (Matthew) Klop, Lani (Zach) Dinse, Matthew Stevens, Jacob (Angelica) Broker, Dacotah (Toby) Tyler, and Shyannah (Scott) Stevens; Great nieces and nephews, Owen, Nova, Nowah, Lennox, Oedyyn, Phoenix, Maxwell, Maia, Embriella, and Waylon; and fur baby, Chewy.

Terri was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Stevens; brother, Philip Stevens; nephew, Kyle Stevens; and three fur babies, Mollie Bear, Buddy and Rosie.

As per Terri’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. The family will have an intimate gathering at a later date.
