Terry Trent Steele

Terry Trent Steele born August 21, 1957, age 66, of Plainwell, Michigan passed away October 12, 2023 due to natural causes, and was able to participate in the Gift of Life. 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on October 22, 2023, at the Gun River Conservation Club: 689 11th St Plainwell, MI 49080.

Terry always enjoyed his flannel shirts, and with the October weather, please feel free to wear flannel when attending the Service.

Terry is survived by his wife of 18 years Lori Snyder-Steele, his 11 children: Heidi Terrell, Jon (Rebekah) Steele, Chris Steele, Ruthanne Hogaki, Elizabeth (Joseph) Lary-Johnson, Hannah (Ryan) O'Lander, Mary Ellen, Patience (Chet) Reynolds, Charles (Heather) Steele, Philip Steele, Tanya (Rob) Wells and 30 grandchildren. 

He is also survived by his father Charles Steele, and his sisters: Diana (David) Zuidema, Faith (Mike) Premo, Molly Manley, Hope Wahl, and Beth (Don) Cheeseman, Jill (Snyder) & Steve Kitsch, Marci (Snyder) & Alvie Shaw. And many nieces, and nephews. 

Terry was born and raised in Plainwell, MI and a graduate of Plainwell High-school (class of 1976) He went on to enlist in the United States Navy as a submariner, and served his country for 21 years.

He enjoyed drinking his coffee while reading one of his many books. He enjoyed hobbies such as chicken farming, theology, and being a pet dad to his favorite dog Phox.

He is preceded in death by his mother Dicia (Holden) Steele, and his two brother-in-laws.
