As a manager at the Marshall McDonald's, so many years ago, I had the pleasure of knowing Tom as an employee. He always had a bounce in his step and a smile on his face. Every few months, when the management team sat down to write performance reviews, Tom always ended up with the highest scores. Each of us appreciated his enthusiasm and consistent great performance. I exchanged some e-mails with him a few years ago and learned that he continued that attitude of excellence, to always do his best, during his time in the Army. I have only fond memories of him. RIP Tom. RIP my friend.

Tom was a great childhood friend. We spent hours building forts, and playing ball. We had wonderful times working at McDonald's in high school. Tom brought a smile to everyone he met.
