Timothy Elkey

Timothy “Tim” F. Elkey, age 74, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, in Galesburg, Michigan. He was born on October 16, 1951, in Rutland, VT the son of Robert and Phyllis (Herrick) Elkey and was proud to have been raised in a military family.

Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and family man. He cherished the people closest to him and leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will continue to be treasured by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Phyllis Elkey; his brothers, Robert, Rodney, and Norbert Elkey; his sister-in-law, Rhonda Denton; his father-in-law, Arlon Myers; and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Myers Solis.

Left to cherish his loving memory are his wife, Vickie Myers Elkey; his children, Scott (Toni) Elkey, Jason Elkey, Ryan (Reiana) Elkey, Lisa (A.J.) Elkey, and Alan Elkey; his grandchildren, Bryana, Joey, Rayla, Roselyn, Timmy, Holden, and Regan; his great-grandchildren, Mateo, Lucia, and Emillio; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tim will be remembered as a devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. His family will carry his memory with them and cherish the time they were blessed to share with him.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
