Vincent James
Viviano
June 28, 1948 – June 3, 2026
Vincent James Viviano, age 77 years, was called home by his Lord on June 3, 2026. Vince was born June 28, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, oldest son of Vincent and Ilene Mildred (McMillan) Viviano.
In 1966, he graduated from Bloomington High School, Bloomington, California, and studied microbiology at San Bernardino Valley Community College and California Politechnic College in Pomona, California.
On April 15, 1967, Vince married Marian Janet Taylor, and worked in construction. In 1974 Vince and Marian moved to Gaylord, Michigan, where he got his builder’s license and started his own construction company. They built a home with their own hands and raised their three children there.
Vince accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord in 1975 and began a lifelong passion for the study of the Bible. He was chairman of the board of deacons in his local church, then he and his best friend started a church with the goal of helping people heal from past emotional trauma. Until his death a good part of every day was spent studying scripture and listening to sermons on podcasts.
Vince was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Marian Janet Viviano, and his three children: Gina Noelle Viviano (Ronald) of Alfred, Michigan; James Vincent Viviano (Amanda) of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Matthew David Viviano (Rebecca) of Buckner, Missouri. He also leaves to mourn his passing his stepmother Ramona Evans Viviano; two brothers: Mark Anthony Viviano (Patricia) of Springfield, Missouri, and Michael Allen Viviano of Gaylord, Michigan and two sisters: Felicia Ann Bakker (Calvin) of Elmira, Michigan, and Carol Sue Renkiewicz (Larry) of Manton, Michigan; nine granddaughters and five great grandchildren.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial has taken place.
