Ginny was born on October 25, 1929 in Kalamazoo, MI and passed away peacefully under the care of Hospice on June 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Wayne Dinges. She is survived by her stepchildren, Steve Dinges, Karel (Al) Smith, Kathy (Steve) McCormick, Chris (Jonathon) Kloosterman, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ginny was a beautiful soul and a light to all that knew her or came in contact with her. After retiring from the Upjohn Co. and Kalamazoo Beer Distributors Ginny didn't slow down. She was a volunteer at Planned Parenthood and was a greeter and mailer at Senior Services for 25 years.
One of Giny's greatest passions in life was her four-legged furry rescue best friends, Jude, Scout and Sweetie. They were her pride and joy, keeping her active and giving her love and companionship. Ginny also enjoyed playing cribbage at the Senior Center every Monday, working her jigsaw puzzles and tuning into Lawrence Welk every Saturday night.
This beautiful lady had a remarkable life and was fearless at being independent. Ginny's outlook on life was so positive. She was known to say almost daily "No one is promised tomorrow, so live your life everyday." Thank you Ginny for those words of wisdom.
Ginny will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Our love always.
