When Uncle Bill went to ENC his two brothers attended as well. His younger brother, Jim, was on the varsity basket ball team with Uncle Bill. My father, Mel, was the older brother. He would take me to some of the home games and we would watch them play. It amazed me to see my uncles dribble the ball through the legs of their opponents and score. My were they quick.

It was my privilege to know Bill Couchenour. He was always friendly and caring to me and his love for his Lord and his family were very obvious. He will certainly be missed but he has now received his heavenly reward.
