William Weinberg

William "Bill" M. Weinberg of Vicksburg, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on July 22, 1932, in Vicksburg, he was the beloved son of Clark and Evelyn (Graham) Weinberg.

A proud graduate of Vicksburg High School's Class of 1951, Bill went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his service, he returned home and built a long and fulfilling career, retiring in 1990 from the Upjohn Farm.

Bill's deep roots in the Vicksburg community were evident through every chapter of his life. A member of the Kalamazoo Antique Auto Restorers Club for an incredible sixty-two years, he found joy in classic cars and treasured the annual Vicksburg Old Car Festival. Even when spending winters in Zephyrhills, Florida for the past twenty-six years with his beloved wife Suzanne, Vicksburg remained close to his heart. He eagerly anticipated each edition of the South County Newspaper, keeping connected to his cherished hometown.

Above all, Bill was a man of God, whose faith shaped a life of extraordinary kindness and generosity. He truly lived by the belief that it is more blessed to give than to receive, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His beautiful spirit touched countless lives and left an enduring mark on everyone who had the privilege to know him.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Phyllis Cochran. He is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Suzanne (LeRoy) Weinberg; his daughters, Arleen (Joe) Smith, Peggy (Bill) Parsons, and Judy (Greg) Stonerock; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of love, faith, and service.

Though Bill may have departed this life, his light will forever shine in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed by his gentle presence.

In accordance with the family's wishes cremation has taken place and there are no public services planned.

Memorials made in Bill's memory may be directed to Rose Arbor Hospice.
